After any water damage situation in your Jackson or Lacey property, your primary focus should always be safety first.

  • Is it safe to stay in the property?
  • Electrical and "slip and fall" hazards are some of the most prevalent concerns.
  • Only do activities that are safe for you to perform
  • Wet materials can be VERY heavy. Be careful!

Here are of few things not to do in your property:

  • DON’T enter the property if there could be any structural damage
  • DON’T walk on sagging floors or under sagging ceilings
  • DON’T use any electrical appliances or turn on ceiling fans and lights that may have been exposed to water. REMEMBER: water travels very quickly and very far so it may end up in other areas.

Cleaning up after a flood is a lot of hard work and requires special knowledge and equipment. Call SERVPRO of Jackson/Lacey for expert water damage cleanup service 24/7.
